We help you build supply chains that hold their service levels, control their cost-to-serve and withstand disruption, with the partners, processes and governance to sustain them.

Supply Chain & Logistics Advisory

Multimodal network explorer

Compare how each transport mode shapes cost, speed, reliability and risk across a network.

Transport mode

Maritime

The backbone of long-haul volume. Highly cost-efficient per unit, but with longer lead times and exposure to port congestion and chokepoint disruption.

  • Lowest unit cost for volume
  • Longest lead times
  • Port and chokepoint exposure

Hub types

  • Deep-sea port
  • Air cargo hub
  • Rail terminal
  • Distribution hub

Executive overview

From network strategy to the partners, lanes and controls that make it work.

Supply chains have become a board-level subject. Volatile freight markets, shifting trade routes, rising customer expectations and closer scrutiny from auditors and regulators mean that decisions on sourcing, network footprint and logistics partners now carry direct consequences for margin, working capital and reputation.

We work with executive teams and supply chain leaders across the full cycle: diagnosing end-to-end performance, defining the target operating model and network, selecting and contracting maritime, road, rail and air partners, and putting in place the KPIs, dashboards and controls that keep operations on track.

Our role does not stop at recommendations. We stay through tenders, onboarding and stabilization, and we prepare your organization for customer, internal and third-party audits, while being clear that certification decisions rest with accredited bodies.

Challenges we address

  1. 01

    Rising and unpredictable logistics costs

Freight rates, surcharges and accessorial costs move faster than budgets, and few organizations can see their true cost-to-serve by customer, lane or channel.

  2. 02

    Networks designed for yesterday’s flows

Warehouse locations, transport modes and sourcing footprints often reflect past decisions rather than current demand, trade routes and service commitments.

  3. 03

Exposure to disruption and single points of failure

Concentration on a single carrier, port, corridor or supplier leaves operations exposed when capacity tightens, routes close or a partner fails.

  4. 04

Limited visibility and inconsistent performance data

Data spread across ERP, TMS, WMS and partner portals makes it hard to track OTIF, lead times and service levels, or to hold partners to account.

  5. 05

    Growing audit and compliance expectations

Customers, insurers, auditors and authorities increasingly expect documented controls over suppliers, transport partners and supply chain security.

How we work

  1. 01

    Assess

Map end-to-end flows, costs, service levels, partners and risks to build a fact-based baseline shared by leadership and operations.

  2. 02

    Design

Define the target operating model, network, modal mix, partner model and control framework, with explicit cost, service and risk trade-offs.

  3. 03

    Plan

Sequence initiatives, tenders and transitions into a roadmap with owners, milestones, dependencies and governance.

  4. 04

    Implement

Run tenders, onboard partners, deploy process and control changes and support teams through stabilization on the ground.

  5. 05

    Optimize

Track KPIs and SLAs, review partner performance and refine the model as volumes, routes and requirements evolve.

What you can expect

  • End-to-end supply chain diagnostic and performance baseline
  • Target operating model and distribution network design
  • Transport tender pack, bid analysis and partner shortlist
  • SLA, KPI framework and performance dashboards
  • Supply chain risk map, continuity plans and control matrix
  • Transformation roadmap and corrective action plan

Outcomes we help you target

  • 01

    Clearer cost-to-serve visibility and better-informed trade-offs

  • 02

More reliable service levels and OTIF performance

  • 03

A more resilient network and partner base

  • 04

Stronger audit readiness and control over third parties

Building Multimodal Resilience Into Transport Networks

Most transport networks are optimized for a stable world and pay for it when a corridor closes or capacity disappears overnight. Multimodal resilience is not about holding spare capacity everywhere; it is about designing credible alternatives before they are needed.

Selecting Logistics Partners: Looking Beyond the Freight Rate

Freight rates are the easiest part of a logistics tender to compare, and often the least predictive of how a partnership will perform. A structured selection process weighs operational capability, transparency and governance alongside price.

Frequently asked questions

What types of organizations do you work with?

Shippers, manufacturers, retailers and distributors, logistics providers and organizations involved in infrastructure and international trade, from mid-sized companies to international groups.

Do you only advise, or do you also support implementation?

Both. We can scope a strategy or diagnostic on its own, but we also run tenders, support partner onboarding and process changes, and stay through stabilization.

Are you tied to any logistics provider or software vendor?

No. Our recommendations on partners and tools are independent, and we apply transparent, documented criteria in every selection process.

Can you work across several countries and transport modes?

Yes. Our work covers maritime, road, rail and air flows and international networks, and we coordinate with local specialists where specific regulatory or customs expertise is required.

Do you certify supply chain security management systems?

No. We help organizations prepare for audits, including against ISO 28000:2022, but certification is granted only by accredited third-party bodies and cannot be guaranteed.
